    Yes, try that tune...

    in the tunetool, go:
    Edit->Properties->Options
    and click on Calibraion - Alternate (i.e. the one on the right),
    click OK.

    To see the differences, open the tune file, then go like this:
    File->Load Alternate Calibration For Comparision
    and browse to the old file;

    Then do:
    File->Display Calibration Difference Summary...
    You can now click on any difference and it takes you to that table.

    (Or see the 2 buttons circled in red in the image below)

    While viewing the table, these 5 buttons circled in red let you see the new table, the old table,
    the +/- difference, the % difference, and the absolute % difference:

    I dont have the stock trans either.. I have a vaccum modulated trans, its still a 4l60e so some of those might not make a difference. I think the shift times are contolled from vaccum now.

    Make sure to set all the throttle kickdowns to 100%.

    Set the WOT up/down shift MPH values as shown in the _0002 tune file...

    if it's not doing a particular shift, lower the WOT upshift MPH,
    make the corresponding WOT downshift MPH lower than the upshift,
    make sure nether of these goes below the parameters for the previous shift.

    you may still have to experiment at the track and fine tune the WOT RPMs.

    OK...

    Let me ask you this, whats the pros and cons for having it like we had it? Is having teh proper gear show up in the logged data really that important?

    You know why we turned the MPH down, so we can just tune by RPM and take out the extra variable. I know the car did not shift like what EFILIVE is showing at the track. If it did do that then there is no way I would have been able to run 10.70's.

    Yeah, I find hard to believe you pulled most of the run in 2nd gear...

    In a vac.mod. trans the PCM still controls the solenoids for shifting...
    when you run, are you aware of each shift hitting (can you say for certain that it's not doing what the log shows...?

    Hmmm.... (I'll have to get a picture of me scratching my head...)...

    LOL... Its hard to tell its shifting (sound or feel wise) due to the shift extensions on the spray are very little.. The converter is not the best, so I am probably on the border of just blowing thru it.

    I need to get a log NA and see how that looks.. I know when I have the cut outs closed, I can hear it, but I always race with them open..
    I know for certain that if the car did act like the data suggests, it would have not ran 10.7's. More like a 15 and or a serious N20 backfire.

    Are you sure your car can't run low 9's...?

    I wish...lol

    I am looking into a trans brake and a stand alone fuel system for N20 so I can run a high octane without breaking the bank. Then low 10's might be possible. Its a long winter up here so plenty of time to save up some money.

    Hey, I bought that wideband connection going from my LC-1 to the flashscan, I remember there being two outlets on it. Which one do I plug it in to?
