Default changing vin on lmm to my suburban vin. is this doable?

So as I get closer to doing my next diesel burb swap 07 gmt 900 burb wit 07 lmm gmt 900. Im told buy a source with all factory flash equipment we might try changing the lmm ecm vin to the burb vin to make everyone in the truck happy. We dont know yet if this is possible. I want to keep my remote start and he feels we dont need vats turned off then. Whats it going to take for my remote start to continue workin?

Edit: kept searching and it would seem put any vin I want into just about ant controller efi works on. If im wrong please correct me.
