Default Temporary IAT Sensor Solution to 5 Wire MAF

I'm very new to OBDII tuning and EFILive, but when I learned of the IAT issue with the 5 wire MAF, I thought of a temporary solution. I'm not sure how many are disabling the MAF for Auto VE, then enabling it again (is this how it's typically done??).

I dug into our parts bin and made two types of adapters to use only the IAT portion of the 5 wire MAF sensor. Unfortunately there is no mating connector to the MAF connector, so I came up with two alternatives.

If this looks useful as a temporary solution, I can make them available for purchase at http://www.eficonnection.com. If hood clearance is an issue, the long adapter could be used. Otherwise, the short adapter would probably be ideal. The pins used are the correct mating terminals to the MAF connector terminals.
