Looking for MAP values at idle for both STOCK AND AFTERMARKET cams.
If your cam is not stock, please state the specs if known.
For example, my stock cam was around 45kpa, my aftermarket (in sig)
72kpa. Stock 03Z cam in a 12:1 416, 29kpa.

I can look thru some logs to see what difference LT headers make... or I can put them back on soon (I also got LS6 heads/cam I can put on).

Nice sound clip!!!
Swingtan thats an interesting association you show with Base Spark and MAp kPa. I probably did not realize it was that dependent on base spark. I ended up with the 20-24 base spark at Idle, but your chart does make a lot of sense.
Joecar, it might be interesting to see how your car may do with some additional mods. There are times I wish I had the bucks to have one LS1 modded, and one completely stock. Sometimes I forget how nice these cars are just totally stock. Though I must say I would have a hard time without an aftermarket exhaust and headers.
I know being in California it probably is not easy. But even a 'milder' cam and a little head work can add to the driving experience. I ran a 'smog' cam 220/220 114 for awhile. I actually liked that cam. Mod fever is hard to break though!
OP, sorry to divert. Thats a nice 1/4 mile time you have. Is this your 'street-car', or just track?
I recently yanked the license plates off of it, then later changed my mind when reality set in that I couldn't drive it this summer. I guess that defines it as a mostly strip, some street.
I'm adding a 255/263 cam and turn downs soon. (to experience a June race that is coming up; it will get trailored for that). I'll post up a WMV when available.
Thanks for the data guys. I am just interested in how diff cams and LSAs affect vacuum.
