I know it's early and the questions are getting old on this . I was wondering if the 2012 Ecms are the same and still locked up? I heard that some trucks are hitting the lots maybe just special orders for now.

We do update our LML ECM as GM release new OS's to see if they have been given some more freedom, so far no, can't see that changing any time soon.
I no longer monitor the forum, please either post your question or create a support ticket.
Thanks guys guess I just need to accept that it's probably done with GM's diesels but was really hoping for a change on the 2012 models.

This one was hard for me too, I think the biggest reason to give up is that
GM is now Government Motors, after the bail-out it's now tax payer owned.

It ain't over 'till the fat lady sings..... she sung and the bitch says no more tuning :(
but I think it has to do with the queer EPA too, oh well

That's 100% what it is... :(
If the 'EPA' has their way, all living things (Us, cows, sheep, horses....) will need a catalytic converter of some kind shoved up their @$$es to filter thie farts. The 'EPA' is a joke. There's reasonable standards, then there's 'way out past left field lost in the weeds nutjob' standards, which is what we have now and are moving deeper into the weeds.... Emissions standards 10 years ago were 1000x better than they were 35 years ago. Hell, my 95 v8 Cougar ran SUPER clean last time it had to be dynoed for emissions. Probably plenty clean for todays nutjob standards.

I guess if we keep asking maybe the answer will eventually be "yes"? Lol..
