I have recently purchased and Arduino prototyping board. the thing that can be done with it are semingly endless. its got me thinking of a few projects & one possably involving my V2.
I would love to try logging GPS and Accelerometer data via the serial port on the V2. I dont want to lose the abbility to log serial WBO2 at the same time. It wouldn't be difficult to get my LC-1 to connect to the Arduino and then hopfully package up all the data together and send it off to the V2.
I'm wondering how the V2 would then read this data. Would there need to be new updates for the V2 and in what format (serial protocol) would the data need to be sent and at what speed. would all this data be to much and slow things down.
Im realy only just geting started with the Arduino but it seems like a very usefull gadget. I guess im thinking that the GPS data could be used for repeatability when loging data say on your favorite bit of road. you could filter you log to only include data on that streach and compare with other logs at the same place to see if improvments have been made to the tune. geting closer to a dyno for the poor man.
Any ideas or info would be great.
