Default 06 LBZ is limited to 2000 rpm's

If I run my truck on the hot tune and race tune hard for short period of time, my tranny goes into limp mode. I installed an aftermarket fuel rail plug but it still does it. I can reflash my truck and it takes it out of limp mode. It is just very time consuming and a pain to do. Any help or input would be appreciated.

Well if you're limping the trans, means you're making too much power. Your options are either build the trans or dial the power back.

If it's already built, you need to figure out why the TCM (maybe ECM too) is requesting limp mode.

As ScarabEpic22 stated, limp mode will cause this. It could be transmission slippage as stated. It could still be fuel rail pressure dropping. Can you post up a log file with your hot tune causing the issue?
