    If you're welding onto a stainless pipe use stainless mig wire.

    Get a junk 02 sensor and after tacking the bung in,install it while running the bead.
    That is what my exhaust guy does,he said sometimes the bung will warp while welding it.

    I have some blanks I use for this, from memory M18x1.5, your exhaust guys knows his stuff.

    Great info here! Any additional considerations for a turbo vehicle?
    '12 Caprice PPV 6.0 L77 - daily transportation
    8.7 @ 84 (1/8 mile) bolt-ons

    '02 Silverado RCSB 5.3 L59 - regularly street driven
    8.2 @ 86 (1/8 mile) stock cam and spray

    When dealing with a turbo, you need to make sure that it is after the turbo. And ideally before the catalytic convertor. Also when dealing with turbos, you need to start what that the exhaust gas temperatures don't get too hot for the wideband sensor.
