So I tow extensively and les tuned my truck (whiich Kick's ass and I highly recommend) Not being able to leave enough alone though I've made some minor tweaks to pull a few more mpg and reduce smoke and it's really really close.... But if I'm pulling down the highway with a load (doesn't matter how heavy) if I'm above 10psi on the boost gauge and she's "working a little to maintain 80 my intake grid heater light will illuminate and ding audibly 8 times. Sets no codes and if I back off slightly and drop to 75mph it will go out on it's own. It's kinda like having a little guy in there to tell me I'm getting worse millage if I continue to push it that hard. Any one know what causes it? Or what it's trying to tell me?
Separate note I'm in want of a twin kit for my 06, I have a stock manifold and an aurora 3000 right now. Makes good power but I'm into more power and no smoke when I'm towing. Havent been able to tune out both loaded and unloaded smoke, keep reverting back to les's tune and starting over with small adjustments. Still trying to learn how everything affects everything during the combustion cycle.
Thanks for any help guys.
