What you're asking for in the tables is a maximum, not a absolute.

Also take note that the base table plus altitude 1-3 are for "normal" operation, if the truck is cold, or in another EOM than base 1-3, it'll throw your perceived torque request off.

Scanner that shows what EOM you are running in will help.

One good giveaway that your irritating the emissions system is the throttle valve position. If it's anything less than 80% open when in spool up, off idle or moderate acceleration, then it's telling you the system isint happy.

With the scr system still in use, the ecm will gladly plug the dpf up before it allows higher than designed NOx.

So you'll see the egr stay open, the throttle valve close or go less than 80%, to keep the torque and NOx down.
