Default Note About: E2567/Equivalence Ratio Limit

I know this is an old platform but some old threads asked about EQ ratios, quick note... the label for the limiters description appears to be backwards. Diesel EQ is richer with a lower number, .625 is right around the theoretical sweat spot power wise with numbers of 1-2 range being pretty clean. This also assumes your injector map is correct for the injectors so the computer to calculate an approximate AFR/EQ. If you study the factory map EQ tends to help a lot with part throttle smoke control, most people likely wont mess with this but if your on the highway rolling in the throttle and nothing really happens till 90%+ TPS even with 20psi on a stock turbo then you maybe hitting the EQ limit in some way. Some intakes I've seen will remove the small air temp sensor in some cases which can exacerbate the issue. If your sensor was removed and feels sluggish try to drill a hole and put it in the intake tract in some way to get more accurate calculations
