Tuner help

Good evening, first post here. I have a question. I bought a 2014 GMC Denali 3500hd duramax, deleted and had efi live tunes ( no other info avail on who tuner is) and edge monitor. Recently the turbo went out and had it replaced this week. Got a call from mechanic who said install went fine and ran great for a minute and then had no throttle response. He compared to an Allison trans limp mode. Now the edge cts2 will no longer work says cannot program/tunes unrecognized. He said there are no codes and he thinks the tune files are corrupt.

So my actual question is if I buy efi live v2 or v3 and have tunes put on it will it override the corrupt tunes that are on it now.

full flash of the correct tune will erase everything in old tune and rewrite with what tune you get. ive seen these trucks set no codes and run really bad like a limp mode. will idle fine but no throttle response and very very poor power all because of bad maf sensor readings due to dirt . straw / leafs ./ or just a bad maf sensor.
