$0548 Error

Has something in a recent update causing issues with flashing 2350B and 2450B ECMs? I attempted to bench flash a 2450B control with a file which errored out with $0548. So I thought the file was bad. Then I attempted to flash a known good file....$0548 error. OK so now we are tow files down. Lastly I tried a stock file.....$0548 error. Enough with this ECM so I move to a 2350B ECM on the bench. Connect everything up and flash a known good file......$0548 error??? Getting frustrated I try a known good stock file....$0548 error.

Two different ECMs with several different file (most are known to be good) failed to flash with $0548 error. This was all within about a 2 hours span.

Jump forward to this week. Completely different ECM, truck, file, Flashscan V3, laptop..........flashing a known good file.....$0548 error

What is going on with EFI?? Everything is up to date and still having issues with this!!

In some cases, the ECM memory needs to be completely erased before loading the new flash file. This can avoid conflicts between the old file Suika game and the new file. However, be careful when doing this, as it may erase all ECM data.
