    Default Egt and lambda setup

Anybody wire an egt probe into the stock harness? The egt sensor plugs run right by the passenger side manifold where I (and most other people) have there egt probe. Wondering if I could cut the harness and wire in the sensor I have which is from edge. Assuming there both k type I think I need to wire in something to modify the voltage before sending it the ecu? Dont want to smoke my computer

You can’t just splice the EGT probe directly into the stock harness. The factory harness is set up for the OEM thermocouple signal and scaling, while the Edge probe will output a different voltage range. You’d need a converter or signal conditioner to make sure the ECU reads it correctly. Otherwise geometry dash, you risk sending the wrong signal and damaging the ECU. Safer route is to use the probe with a standalone gauge or module that’s designed for it, and leave the stock wiring alone.
