Start with stock tune, import the various injector tables (why are you using the LS9 injectors?), the then do AutoVE (i.e. correct the VE table) first.

    Hi Joe!
Nice to hear from you again. I don't have a stock tune available. At least not one I trust with this ls7. I used a ve I had from a 383 tune and added fuel to be safe. Am I wrong in this thinking?
We worked on the IFR tables a few months back. I used the tables given to me by highlander from the forum. Then I used the excel sheet to calculate them. seemed closer. I had the ls9 injectors and secondly I wanted plenty of fuel available for e85 and nitrous. This is a 12.5:1 motor. I do have the 50 lb/hr injectors on the way that were suggested by nonnieselman. I'm curious if they cure some of my issues.
When I do AutoVE I get a ve thats so lean in areas that I get a flashing check engine light. I just don't feel safe. I feel that something in my tune is correcting my ve and messing with the new map.
I also can't disconnect the yellow wire to my maf and get the engine to run at all to log it.I have tried several ve tables, just wont run. This was my most recent attempt.

The VE that was in your tune from last week was done wrong.

Ill get on the other laptop and get you a new tune done with those "3412" injectors and a new VE to test.

I think your pasting the corrections wrong into your VE.

"I think your pasting the corrections wrong into your VE."
I thought the same thing, but instructions clearly say to copy and paste the whole table. for ve. I actually believe the maf table is correct. Each log I do the maf shows virtually no corrections.
New injectors you suggested are in, I'm just waiting for ICT billet adapters to fit the HI Ram intake..
Still does"nt explain why I can't disconnect my maf. But that has to be something in the current tune. I am curious, does my latest tune's ve look any better?

    Question?
Once I log, and filter the log, what should I do? It seems that I should paste and multiply not just paste it in with all the zero cells. I know they will correct themselves. I have seen it happen.

You have to Paste and Multiply with Labels.

the Scanner has the BEN's calculated for you.
You have to Multiply this table into the VE table since BEN is a Percentage of difference between Commanded and Actual AFR.
IF the BEN Map has a 0 then the VE table will have no change.

I thought that was what I should do, but it clearly says to paste in the tutorial.
    5. Paste the CALC.VET map into your B0101 VE table:

Copy-with-labels the new CALC.VET map and paste-with-labels into table B0101 in your tune file.

Note that the CALC.VET map replaces your B0101.
That makes sense why it kept going lean no matter what I do. For B5001 it says to multiply and that worked exactly as it should. Any thoughts why I can't run it without the maf yellow wire connected?
I always thought the B0101 numbers looked like lambda.
Also, how do I select only the cells that have data in them? I don't want to add all those zeros in by multiplying by zero.
