OMG, hacked is right, you sacrificed it!, you should have asked for some pics, I have one all apart here. Last I saw they were going for 75 cents on Ebay motors .

Just an FYI, I downloaded the file, unzipped it, and tried to open it with EFILive. Says bad .bin file... Dont know if that just means I cant read it, or that the file is actually bad.
But, those are some cool pics of the inside!

thanks,
the file posted is raw binary and cannot be loaded with efilive (only 5.7 V8 binary files can be loaded), and then can only be saved in efi live format, to protect their hard work
bing.
Actually, the real reason is they only used 512K of the 1Mb chip, so we strip out the upper half (it's all blank). If anyone has a hex editor just delete everything from $80000 up from that file posted (just after the $5AA5A5A5 data). Then the file will load, you can load any .bin file still as long as the software knows what it is (i.e, don't try loading a 2002 Volvo file ).
Also, look at my accidental hacking effort when trying to remove an E67 from the case..........that would be the CPU sitting next to it. I was lifting the VERY thin PCB off the goo that sticks it down, heard a crack and knew it could not be a good thing.
Cheers,
Ross

Well I tried loading the file after hex editing everything after that last string of data, and still I get a bad file format error (tried saving as .bin and .tun). Ohh, well, it was a fun way to blow 30min this thursday night.

I'm having trouble modifying the file as well. The "flash chip" file ends at $34999. I'm also not seeing the $5AA5A5A5 string that GMPX is referring to.
Could someone shed more light on this or upload a corrected file?
