Does anyone know exactly what the file format is of a CAL file? Is that binary or encrypted?

It's an efilive proprietary format, presumably defining the file structure of the particular OS in question.Originally Posted by runrun

I think I just replied to your email... They are binary and are more than likely encrypted. They are EFILive intellectual property and will not be made available outside of the EFILive applications.

Ah well, thanks for the info. Someone on an online job board (http://www.scriptlance.com/projects/1188217090.shtml) was looking for a developer to parse the files. I guess it actually sounds like they're looking for someone to hack them.
Thanks runrun, looks like they forgot to read the EULA.
Dumb part is they list the posters details -

Go get 'em.
You can get an HTML listing of the calibrations, use File->Export Calibration List.Originally Posted by runrun
You can add your own calibrations that you want to edit using the *.cal extension file format: *.cax
It is currently undocumented but it will be fully documented and publicly available in the EFILive V8 release.
But if you have the required information and a real need to add your own calibrations, contact me at paul@efilive.com.
