I tried reading a 2009.5 G8 tune today but couldn't connect.
Is this because a V1 won't read the E38 PCM?

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T
MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE
DUCT TAPE.
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

Correct, FlashScan V2 is needed to support CAN based controllers (E38, E40, E67 etc).

Hmm...I feel like I'm talking to myself...Howard...Lol!
We don't have those as such....I have a 'friend' in the right places.
Unfortunately I have V1 so...I can't get a copy of the tune.
