We need a bit better description of anything modded from stock.
For instance is your fuel pressure rising to 100psi due to a boost referenced regulator with a greater than 1:1 ratio? Is it due to an electronic boost a pump set up?
Since I know next to nothing about the US cars do you have an electronic throttle or cable?
The Tremor at AIR
hi, it has a cable for throttle control and this is the set up i have,,,yes it comes with a FUM to control fuel under boost
4GM218-050SQ is the part # for the kit Vortech
Since the issue happens under boost (over 104kpa map) there are a few things I can think of.
FMU is raising fuel pressure too high causing an excessively rich condition (verify with a wideband)
An installation fault.
A sanity check table is being exceeded.(log parameters to check these tables) I am not sure which will invoke what code (if at all) so you will need to go through them all.
The first thing to do is beg, buy or borrow a wideband to see what is happening to the afr's under boost.
FWIW a 12:1 fmu will increase the fuel pressure by 72 psi at 6psi boost which I would have thought is extremely hard on injectors. 58psi + 72psi = 130psi.
The 124 psi difference between fuel & manifold pressure under boost only increases the flow rate to the equivelant of a 28lb injector. Not a lot of gain for the extra stress on the fuel system.

question about a wide band,,,,if i buy one, is that all i need is one? or do i need two? and do i remove the stock o2 sensor so the wide band can go in its place? or do i have to weld a new bung and does it matter which side it is on if i need only one
plus i had a fuel gadge hooked up and poking out of the hood so i could see it and take note of the pressure as i did my log
One wideband is enough. I run mine in the passenger side header(your driver side) in place of the factory o2 sensor. You will need to simulate the narrowband sensor with your wideband sensor if you are not using a seperate bung.

hi, i need some help on what type and kind of o2 wideband i should get plus after i install it, how do i log it?
The most commonly used on here seem to be.
Innovate lc-1 or lm-1
plx devices.
To try to tell you which to use would be unfair as they are all well priced & accurate enough to suit our needs.
I use the lm-1 as the stand alone data logging is necessary for some of my other vehicles. Do a search on here & you will find a few threads on the subject.

May be a silly question but have you replaced you map sensor to a 2 bar or similar?
