Can anyone tell me why...?

Can anyone tell me why my tuner changed all my misfire tables under engine diagnostics? Its a 05 Chevy LQ4 with heads/cam/headers. I am just curious as to the reason and want a second opinion on the matter. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks

That would be a reason to change the misfire tables .

K. Did you happen to look at the rest of the tune? The only other main concern I have is that it surges off throttle in gear at low speeds..

No I didn't . You asked about the misfire tables only. That is what I focused on. May want to discuss the surging with your tuner.

He may have done that to avoid detecting misfires (which when detected would cause TCC to stay unlocked).

But wouldn't I want to know if it is misfiring?
