IFR boost/non boost
We have LS1 with new 42 bosh injectors and super charger, I have changed the IFR table for the larger injectors as below, Question is now we are referencing the fuel reg to manifold pressure so we have rising rate should I still have these rising numbers or should the IFR table be flat lined?
6.109375
6.148438
6.187500
6.226563
6.257813
6.296875
6.335938
6.375000
6.406250
6.445313
6.484375
6.515625
6.554688
6.585938
6.625000
6.656250
6.695313

The IFR should now be flat (same value in all cells)...
the IFR value to use is the zero vacuum value as calculated with measured rail pressure (measured with reference hose temporarily removed).

Thats what I thought, so 58psi is the rail pressure with vac hose off so the number should be 6.110675 in all areas correct?
-
Yes, correct.
Although, since octane is 1.03 x more dense than heptane (which is used for measuring flowrate), you could also use 6.11 x 1.03 = 6.29 g/s.
