it is actually an a41, sorry. it is behind a cummins motor. since you cant change this with efi, i just need a CIN from a j1939 tcm. i have both an a40 and an a41 tcm so im flexible.

that makes sense. question, i have an A40 in an '08 kodiak that allison tells me is a 5spd cin; but my edge clearly shows it going into 6th and locking up. i can see the rpms drop by at least 200,...
got everything to work except a tps signal from the tcm. do you know what pid to add for this signal in an A40 tcm?

and what is the benefit of a full flash over a cal flash for the A40 controller?
is the OS the same as CIN or are they different?
i will give that a try tonight. will it be that easy to build a gauge to tell me what gear the trans is actually in as it shifts?
I can not figure out how to build usable gauges. I am trying to datalog data on an A40 Allison 6spd. Does anyone have a dashboard with the following gauges from the TCM:
TPS%
Gear
VSS
TCC...
i have a V2 and would like some help tuning an A40 TCM.
i have a 6spd running behind a cummins vp44 24v eng. right now the tcc is only locking up in 4,5 and 6. i want to have it start locking...
i have never tried to tune anything myself with efi, so who would be the best person to walk me through what to do, or where can i have it done. obviously this is not your typical Duramax/Allison...
