Glad to hear it worked. Have you done any data logging to see what the surge is about?

Do you have +12 volts to the mass air meter? Do you have a speed signal to the ECM over the CAN BUS?

How about taking it to a dealer and have them flash it with a 2500/3500 pickup tune? That should give you a clean slate to start with.

I sent it in months ago for their database. No issues, but I am using the ECM in a standalone application. I have only run it on a test stand at the moment. Ran fine though.

On my 6.7, I got a C&C ECM that wasn't supported by EFI Live, so I just grabbed a stock 6.7 OS offline and downloaded it to the ECM. I haven't had a problem.

If you have a tuned 6.7 truck (deleted) and update everything, will you loose the deletes on that truck?

I would like to know this as well as I have a couple 6.7 powered F650s that would like a tune. They say CM2100 on the ECM, but the plug is a tad different than the ones used in the Dodge application....

No 6.7 rail?

I bench flashed my ECM by just hooking up the 2 CAN wires from the ECU to the OBDII port. You will also need battery +12v and the grounds hooked up.

I believe the CAN wires are the only wires you need. I will hopefully know this afternoon when I get my 6.7 ECU.

If you want to get crazy with the torque, throw a dial indicator on the main studs and measure the actual stretch.

Is the actual start of the combustion the main injection table value minus the pilot injection value to give the start of the combustion in relation to crank angle? The pilot table is off the main...
