I usually tune several E38's every week and have never experienced this. I did however have a couple issues with some vehicles I tuned when that one update had a few glitches in it. I since then just re-tuned them starting with a new good stock tune and that cleared everything up. With the latest update and firmware my V2 is actually been working flawless with zero problems.

I am using the latest update "Release-Candidate-2-Aug-19-2011". I will see another customer and re-read the stock file and starts from there.

    Default P0128

Whenever you put a lower temp thermostat / lower the fan temps, P0116/P0128 will trip and the A/C will be disabled.
You have to set P0116/P0128 to not reported

Condiitions for setting DTC P0128 (2007/2008)
The ECM detects that the minium ECT of 75'C has not been met, when the IAT is more than 10'C
    OR
The ECM detects that the minium ECT of 55'C has not been met, when the IAT is less than 10'C

The ECM uses the start-up ECT and the start-up IAT to begin the diagnostic calculation. The air flow into the engine is accumulated and the vehicle speed, distance and egine run time are also factored to determine if the ETC does increase normally, and reach the calbrated target temperatures.

Condiitions for setting DTC P0116 (2007/2008)
The ECM detects a temperature difference at power up that indicates that the ECT sensor is 25'C more than the IAT
    OR
The ECM detects a temparature difference at power-up that indicates that the ECT is 15'C more than the IAT and the time spent cranking the engine is more than 10 sec, when the fuel level is more than 5%
    OR
With the power-up IAT more than -7'C, the ECM detects a temperature difference at power-up that indicates the ECT sensor is 15'C more than the IAT. Then the vechile must be driven for more than 6 min and 40 sec at more than 24km/h. If the IAT then does not decrease more than 8'C, DTC P0116 will set

Got to love those mad Holden/GM scientists !
