The one I have here is '16040749', www.gmpartsdirect.com shows this as obsolete.
The new number is - '12223861', they came from the 89 Turbo T/A's according to that site.
Cheers,
Ross
I believe the 12223861 is a 3 bar sensor. I googled that number and everything comes up that way.
I found this nifty page:

There's some discussion on LS1tech about using the BARO sensor from a Saturn ION, but the connector doesn't match up, which seems like a needless PITA to me.
I'm thinking anything from a recent factory S/C 3800 would be plug and play.

I asked my local dealer for p/n 16040609 and they came back with a new number 12569241 - $40 and some change. Got the original part number from this site: http://www.robietherobot.com/storm/mapsensor.htm

I would like to know the answer to this also! I need a 2bar that will fit a silverado and I am confused by all of the part number refrences in similar posts.
