    After that, do Help->About in scantool (ST) or tunetool (TT) and it should say build 84.

    Start EFILive Explorer (EE), goto Firmware tab, click About, it should say Build 44;

    Then, still in EE Firmware tab, update the bootblock to 2.06.02 (checkmark Bootblock box) and the firmware to 2.06.06 in that order.
    OK.. This should be done. I did not know where to go to see the "build 84" though. EE did say build 44.

    LS1B_A.pmm
    Options.txt

    You only need the pmm file for your car (LS1B_A = 1999+ LS1 with A4 transmission (includes 12212156 and COS5)).

    Exit EE, and remove USB cable.

    I dont have that.

    Do you have the blue card that came with EFILive...?

    Open ST or TT and go Help->Register EFILIve and enter all the information from the blue card exactly as shown on blue card (do not enter your name unless the blue card shows your name).

    Copy the attached Options.txt file to either of:

    WinXP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\EFILive\V8\Config
    Vista: C:\Program Data\EFILive\V8\Config (I don't remember is this is right).
