Jody, use the new one... see post #202.
You will have to update the V2 firmware, use EFILive Explorer to do so.
Its not strictly necessary, but if you do uninstall and delete the two folders, then your new V8 install will be cleaner and ther ewill be no "old" files hanging around to confuse you later...
On XP:
\Program Files\EFILive\V8
\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\EFILive\V8
On Vista (you may need to set "show hidden files" to see ProgramData)
\Program Files\EFILive\V8
\ProgramData\EFILive\V8

Paul

1999 Trans Am. 10.71 @ 126 - stock bottom end-
Forgive me if this has been brought up already but... Is there a way to switch the PIDS to imperial?
I've already selected 'custom' from the display menu of f3 "display" tab.
Jeez - I put that in the wrong spot - Sorry guys.
Jody,
Have you figured out how to use it...?
Did you program V2 with firmware 2.06.07 using the old EFILive Explorer...?
Then, on the Scan & Tune display (your post #207 above) follow this:
Hints:
- On "LLY Manual" rightclick->Properties and change its name to "LS1" "Trims" (for example), and select the LS1B_A controller;
- Uncheck the other names and click the red minus button to delete them;
- Click on PID Name to sort by pid name,
- Select some pids, click on the double left arrow button to add them;
- Watch the pid channel counter below (if it turn red you have too many pid channels);
- Click the up and down arrows to arrange the V2 display order of the selected pids;
Rightclick on the next empty controller slot and name/create another pid list (e.g. "LS1B" "Trans")...
FInally, click on Save , and then click on Program (V2 has to be connected to PC).
Remove V2 from PC... you're now ready to log
