Thanks for the reply Paul. Unfortunately it had no effect. You're talking about the description, caption, etc columns correct? Not only are the PID's missing but their categories have disappeared. Anything else I could try?
Thanks again,
Brandon
So another update on this issue. It seems to only be apparent with the e67 controller. I don't know if its all e67's or just this one. Have others had issues with the GMPP computer? I did have bad checksums when I read the factory tune, but after a repair and reflash all seemed fine. In an attempt to trick flashscan I connected and validated to an e38 nearby, selected some PID's and then took the laptop over to the Chevelle. As soon as It connected to the e67 it again lost most of the PID's. I also checked my equipment up against an e40 and an LS1 PCM to insure it wasnt a global problem. I have all pids with other controllers. Even with saved PID selection files, certain PID's just don't show with this car. Is this something that will be fixed in this weeks update Paul? Or is it OS related? I could really use some help on this one as the car needs to get delivered to the customer and without being able to log some of the most basic pids I can't get anything done. As always, thank you for your time!

PS, Here is some porn of what I am working on.
Looks like its the VIN that is not "known" to the Scan Tool, so it is leaving out all the GM.* PIDs.
You have two options:
1. Change the VIN in the PCM to one that starts with one of these combos:
Or 2. Edit the file: \Program Files\EFILive\V7.5\Configuration\sae_generic.txt which contains the list above, and add your vehicle's VIN to the list above, in the same format as the others.Code:*VINCONFIG #VIN Config file #---------- -------------------------------------------------------------------- 1G......... gm_enhanced.prn (USA GM) 2G......... gm_enhanced.prn (Canada GM) 3G......... gm_enhanced.prn (Mexico GM) 4G......... gm_enhanced.prn (USA GM) 5G......... gm_enhanced.prn (USA GM) 6G......... gm_enhanced.prn (Australia GM) 6H......... gm_enhanced.prn (Australia Holden)

DOH!! That fixed it, good eye Paul! Thank you for the compliments. It is a 1966 (hard to tell in this pic), that owes its beauty to the folks I work with. These days I don't get to play with them as much as I used to, but the ol' job still calls me in to make the efi stuff run. If only they could afford me full time these days, I'd go back in a heartbeat.
Thanks again to everyone!
Cheers,
Brandon
